Music has the power to change your workout experience. In the last year, I have been trying quite a few different types of high-intensity workouts, from Betty Rocker to Fittlyss. And I have found that, when a groovy track comes on, tough exercises like burpees don’t seem as difficult anymore. The rhythm of funky tracks is often upbeat and motivating, but it’s more than that. Listening to feel-good groovy music just adds that something special to a workout, that get-down and enjoy it kind of feeling.
